Let us take on the role of host over the Christmas holidays this year and sit back and relax. We await you on 22, 23 or 24 December 2025 for a Christmas trip with lots of treats, delicious menus and pleasant company.
Leave all your worries behind and use your free time to explore our city of roses. The shops will unfortunately be closed for the holiday, but a stroll along the shop windows, past the cathedral and St Michael's Church will make your eyes light up even in a Christmas-decorated city centre. And who knows, maybe we can also look forward to a delicate winter dress on the roofs of the city.
If you haven't had the chance to enjoy a cosy Christmas market stroll before the festive season, you can do so during your stay in Hildesheim. The Hildesheim Christmas market is open until 28 December 2025, while the Christmas market in Goslar, around 60 km away, is open until 30 December 2025.
